Big things are happening in Miss Burnette's class!!

Every month the school has a drawing for students that were at school every day for the whole month.  No checkouts, tardies, or anything...and the August winner was chosen today...and the winner was LOGAN D.!!!  He went home today with a brand new bike and awesome helmet!

The kids had a substitute teacher today because I got engaged over the weekend!!  I was completely surprised and had no clue I wouldn't be at school today...we hadn't even gone over what happens when they have a substitute yet so hopefully things went ok!  I just wanted to share my good news with you readers :)

Happy Birthday Nelly!

Today was Nelly's 5th birthday!  She got to be line leader all day and wear her birthday crown!

Today was picture day at school.  Everybody came dressed nice and ready to smile pretty.  Unfortunately our picture time wasn't until after lunch so we had to be extra careful all day not to mess up our cute outfits!

Lunchtime

Lunch is a fun time for eating and getting a little visiting in with their friends!  Today was taco or burrito day!
